two hours. one conversation.
because sometimes you don’t need a 12 week programme.
the problem.
‘I want an exec role but don’t know what I need to do.’‘My one-person business is stuck.’‘I’m thinking of jacking in my corporate job.’‘I have an idea - need a sounding board.’
You’ve been going round in circles for months. Your mates are sick of hearing about it. Your partner’s either terrified you’ll do it or terrified you won’t. You just need to talk to someone who isn't in your world - someone with no agenda, no stake in what you decide, and an (uncomfortable) ability to see exactly what's going on. This is for those people. And, because sometimes you don't need a 12-week programme.these are the conversations I have EVERY day.
‘ I’ve got more from two hours with you, than six months with a life coach.’
how it works.
Everyone around you has an opinion on what you should do, and most of them have a reason for it. I don’t mind what you decide. I just want to help you decide properly.
It’s very simple. It’s a two hour chat - but no egg timer if we run over.
You come with the thing that’s challenging you and tell me the story you're telling everyone else. I’ll listen, and then ask the questions you're dodging. There’s no point in avoiding them - you’re only wasting your own time. I’ll tell you what I see and you leave with a way forward.
There is no programme. No framework. No follow-up sales calls. Just two of the most useful hours you’ll have this year.
If you don’t act on it - that’s on you.
Some people have found it uncomfortable - you might come face to face with something you've been successfully avoiding.
After the session I type up notes and send them to you - so you’re not trying to remember it all.
Please note: I also like to sit with what came up on the call - sometimes I get a brainwave a day later - just know if anything else surfaces I'll come back to you. And it works both ways - if something comes up for you, just email me.
what you’ll get out of it
You say all the stuff in your head - out loud - to someone who isn’t going to judge you, panic, or try to talk you out of it.
We’ll get to what’s actually going on - and more often than not, it’s not the thing you came in with.
You go away with clarity and some avenues to pursue. People always laugh that they leave with a million things to think about.
this isn’t coaching. it isn’t therapy.
and, it isn’t for everyone.
about me
I grew up in Belfast in the 70s and 80s as the oldest child of a big family - so I learnt to read the room quickly. I also have thirty years inside organisations where nobody actually says or wants to hear the ‘thing’. Since quitting corporate, I have spent three years going into the depths of my being to figure out who I am and what makes me tick - you know the inner, shadow work, the ancestral narrative. The work most people avoid. Through that process I’ve learned I’m wired to see the whole picture fast and say it out loud. I don't need 6 months of circling.

FAQs

You talk. I listen. I ask things. At some point I'll tell you what I'm seeing and cut through the noise to find a way forward. It usually lands in a way that surprises people. Not because it's shocking, but because it's the thing they already knew and couldn't quite say.
-
I'll open the conversation, but it's yours. You talk, I listen, then I tell you what I see. No need to prepare.
-
Clarity. Usually on something you've been circling for months. People leave with direction - not a plan someone handed them, but something they can actually see for themselves.
-
On the call I'll tell you what I see. The written reflections are additional. I like to sit with conversations after the call and anything that surfaces after the conversation - a pattern, a connection, something that didn't land in the room. I'll add to the notes and send it. It's not always needed - but when it is, people find it useful.

A smart friend has an agenda. They want you to be okay. They're in your world. I'm not, and I don't. I'll say the thing a smart friend won't.

Career crossroads or navigating the shift from corporate to a life lived. Decisions you've been putting off. The feeling that something fundamental has shifted but you can't name what. Quietly wondering if any of it was worth it. The moment where the life that looks good on paper stops feeling like yours.
-
Well - of course I am going to say yes.
But I think most people I have worked with would say it's the most useful conversation they've had in years. I can't promise what you'll do with it.

If you're asking that question, you probably are. Ready doesn't mean comfortable - It means willing.

People who want to be told they're doing great. People in acute crisis who need therapeutic support. People who aren't prepared to hear something they don't already want to hear.

Yes - it's online, so location doesn't matter. If you would like to do face to face we can discuss when you book.
